This morning was bad without a warning. Four hours of sleep and wasn’t snoring but I’m so eager to fish I’m not ignoring that my rod is a weapon I swing better than a swordsman. Put most of my stuff by the front door. What I could, I sorted out on the trunk floor. Second trip, got everything I’m pretty sure. My arms target at any range so they’re done for. The best part of waking up’s not coffee. This costly hobby is not free. Fish going on line when they cross me. I can get them in a net at top speed, to live well in a live well. Til then I’m a drive like hell to where the spot be. Going a little bit over limit and hoping I did it without letting the cops see. I can find schools like I stay in a class. I want to be in water without taking a bath or swimming in a pool. The lake’s what I have. Getting fuel, don’t need to do work raising a mast. Really can’t wait to be shaken my bass. Made the last stop and paid for the gas. Started to get the feeling I may have forgot a task. I left my tackle box what a pain in the ass.

Left the Wesco to the west I go. I’m just glad that I didn’t forget my pole. I could find bait just fine digging a hole, but I really wish it was 50 minutes ago. Bout to show up and rush the fish beds. Found some old grubs and rusty jig heads. Got my boat stuff, but somehow instead of powering up, Now I’m in trouble, cuz it’s dead. Need to take the battery from the Minnkota, then switch it over hopefully to crank the big motor. I must’ve left the power switch up. If I had to troll out, it would be an hour hiccup. No doubt. I’m almost finished with this mission to get fishing if I could just get this thing to the point of ignition. From negative to positive, switching with precision. Now a twist of the wrist can start the engine. Got it! Pushed off and hopped in. Soon to be hooking lips like I’m boxing. Swiftly, I need to jet to my dropped pin. If I was to bet I’d get bites there I’d be all In. Finally, I made it to my preferred bay. To any fisherman, this lake is like a serve tray. Weekends are packed I’m thinking where were they cuz I didn’t even realize it was a Thursday.
